Person-Centred Practice: Developing Person-Centred Support

This 1-day course explores the concept of person-centred practice and the development of person-centred support.  As central to good practice and current care standards, it is an essential component to providing care and support services in the 21st century.

 

The course looks at several models of person-centred planning and focusses on the practical application of these principles through the use of a range of established and effective tools:

By the end of the course, participants will have a good understanding of the principles of person-centred practice and will also have confidence to use the tools provided to help develop effective person-centred support.

 

The course is presented by and experienced professional and utilises a variety of media - videos, powerpoint presetations, groupwork and practical exercises.
